    Hi smow,

my favourite cockatil is a Long Island Iced Tea :)

    10 ml Tequila
    10 ml White rum
    10 ml Cointreau
    10 ml Gin
    20 ml Lemon juice
    Dash of Coke

While you sit on the balcony in your Panton Chair get your partner to mix the spirits with the lemon juice and the ice in a shaker.
    Shake briskly

    Top up with coke
Garnish with a slice of lemon.
    Serve.

    …hilft ausgesprochen gut gegen Skorbut… ;-)

    _______________________________________________________________________________________

… In this context, I can recommend a Gimlet:

    • 4 oz Gin
    • 2 oz lime syrup (lime juice)
    • a lime

Stir gin and lime juice in a glass with ice cubes. Then strain into a cocktail glass (without ice). A slice of lime into the glass.

When mixing the cocktails ensure that lime juice is not confused with lime juice. The name is misleading, because it is Lime Juice Lime syrup, which is made from lime juice, water and sugar and not pure lime juice. Well known brand, “Rose’s Lime Juice” is.

… helps very well against scurvy … ;-)
